We’re back in Lockdown but it’s slightly different this time around…
Lockdown is in place across the UK again, supposedly only till Dec 2nd but for us at Silvertip, there’s a big difference – it has been officially stated that film and video production work can carry on during the lockdown, all under new Covid protocols of course.
For us, this makes a big difference because the work is allowed to proceed and the situation is far clearer than it was earlier in the year.
We are still working and whilst lockdown has impacted us due to places closing and therefore shoots having to be rescheduled, the ease restrictions mean more can be done.
And on that note…
This month we are back with Guildford Shakespeare Company filming their education workshop performance of The Tempest, which will then be shown in schools as they can’t go in and put the play on at the moment.
We’re working with the Horsham Buy Local campaign to produce a series of videos about Take A Break in the location area. This is 5 short adverts which look at the different things to do in the area and take a break from WFH.
We’ve been doing more live streams recently including a talk from world record holding angler Peter Cockwill talking about the record breaking fish.
Soon we will be producing a new video for Standby Self Storage and a new clean water facility they have. This marks another collaboration with the storage company in the last few years.
We are editing a virtual open day tour for the All Saints School in Horsham. As schools cannot open their doors for prospective parents, many are turning to video at the moment to enable them to do the tours.
The Horsham Film Festival 2021 is now accepting entries and we are receiving some great looking films! The submission deadline has been extended for the event and there will be news on the Awards Night soon. Keep an eye on our social media pages to keep up to date with the festival, prizes and more.
