Mark Gleave
Music Video
Born in West Sussex in 1975, Mark Gleave was interested in music from an early age.
Among his earliest memories are hearing Message in a Bottle by The Police & Blondie's Heart of Glass on the radio. Mark was always listening to pop music whilst growing up in the 1980's & had begun writing his own songs by the late 1990's.
In 2002, he started writing album reviews and posting them online. By the end of 2004, he had written the lyrics & melodies for several of his own songs.
2006 saw the recording of euro house track Pressure, written & sung by Mark. In 2009 Mark's self titled debut album was released and the ballad Always and Forever reached the semi finals of the UK Songwriting Contest.
The song was featured on the South:Live show on BBC Radio Sussex & Surrey and received mixed but some positive reviews from a panel of music industry professionals.
