Jim Smallman "Tattooligan" DVD Shoot

We recently travelled up to Leicester, home of rising comedian Jim Smallman and his tattoos to do some filming for him. 

We spent the day with Jim, culminating in the shoot of a sell out show in his home town, at Highlight comedy club. Supported by the Lion-O look-a-like of Tony Jameson, Jim entertained his audience for over an hour with his comical stories about his life, his tattoos and his adventures.

We shot a couple of special tour videos for Jim – the first being Jim’s Guide To Leicester where we travelled the city and Jim told the hidden history of the City – for example, did you know that the Leicester Police force live in a bat-cave style facility underneath the city? I bet you didn’t.

The second tour was of Jim’s tattoos – including his left arm gallery of video game girls including Chun-Li from Streetfighter and Morrigan from Darkstalkers. The tour is an insight into what each tattoo means and why Jim has it.

The day was completed with a special interview of Jim by his support act Tony and post-show interviews with Jim’s biggest fans and his Mum and Dad.

The DVD is nearing completion and alongside the main show, is packed with special features including the video of Jim’s Ode to Nicola Roberts – the ginger one from Girls Aloud whom he loves dearly. Almost as much as he loves Karen Gillan.
